Ares Garden admission-mark policy

𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐚 | 𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌

The Ares Garden admission-mark policy makes a Corinthian-helmet mark on either hand a requirement for attending the venue’s illegal fights. The mark functions as a visible condition of entry, appearing both on the hands of spectators already inside and on the hands of newcomers before they are led into the club and arena.

Requirement and Mark

When Jungkook Jeon returns to the ring, he notices that people in the audience bear a Corinthian helmet on either their left or right hand. He understands that spectators now need the mark to watch the illegal fights at Ares Garden. The visible sign distinguishes those admitted to the fights, although the evidence does not explain who established the requirement or how it is enforced beyond the entrance.

Application at the Entrance

The policy is also applied when Shelby Anderson Barnum and Namjoon Kim follow Chen Wu’s phone conversation to the venue. After an employee recognizes Chen’s name and lets them follow him, one of two women in the entrance area marks Shelby’s right hand with a Corinthian helmet; the same is done for Namjoon. Shelby wonders why they have been marked, but has little time to consider it before she is pulled into the nightclub. The sequence shows the mark being applied before entry, rather than merely checked once a spectator reaches the arena.

Connection to Chen and the Venue

The requirement stands out to Jungkook because it is new to his experience of Ares Garden: he recognizes that spectators must now carry the mark, a practice Chen Wu had never used. The policy thus accompanies a changed presentation of the illegal fights. For Shelby and Namjoon, the mark is their first concrete indication that entry into the nightclub and its arena is controlled by a procedure they do not understand; for the reader, it makes the venue’s access system visible without revealing its wider rationale.
